It sounded like a good idea at the time. Take a poet, record them reading from his or her latest volume of work. Round up any or all Black Cottage label mates and have theme provide musical accompaniment. Often, Embalming Almanac stepped up and provided the score. A number of titles are now out of print (and for good reason!) But you'll find a few remaining LPs here that we believe have some measure of value.

Poet Chis Minter sits in with Embalming Almanac and reads from his latest collection of work. Often the accompaniment is sparse, letting Minter weave his haunted tails unfettered.
John Bryan - Journal #9 - BC-18 CDLP
John Bryan reads a few selections from his journals dealing with his adventure in the Peace Corps. Embalming Almanac are worked up to a froth as Bryan covers his many mishaps and triumphs with humor and hubris.
